Governor Siminalayi Fubara has taken a massive step toward fixing the healthcare crisis in Rivers State. By approving the immediate employment of 2,000 health workers, the state aims to stop the "Japa" syndrome that has left many hospitals understaffed.
The recruitment includes doctors, nurses, and lab scientists who will be deployed to the rural areas of the state to ensure that every citizen has access to primary healthcare regardless of their location.
